Door-to-Door Logistics Process

EOS's logistics service covers the work around a defense shipment as well as its movement. The delivery scope and responsibilities depend on the requirements of the individual program.

  1. //01

    Export Compliance

Export-compliance support is part of the logistics service. The applicable requirements and responsibilities are addressed within the scope of each shipment before it moves.

  2. //02

    Documentation

Shipment records connect descriptions, quantities and destinations with the goods being moved. EOS provides documentation support alongside the export and delivery work.

  3. //03

    Customs Clearance

Crossing a border brings an additional clearance step into the shipment. EOS includes customs-clearance coordination within its global logistics service.

  4. //04

    Final-Mile Delivery

Arrival at a port or terminal may leave another leg before the equipment reaches its destination. EOS's service includes that final-mile delivery requirement.

Packaging, Kitting & Shipment Preparation

A shipment can involve several suppliers before it reaches a carrier. EOS's procurement, mil-spec and commercial packaging, and kitting services address that work at origin, bringing the equipment and parts together for the next stage of delivery.

International logistics continues that chain through export-compliance support, shipment documentation, customs clearance and final-mile delivery. Packaging and kitting remain part of the OEM distribution service, with a direct connection to the delivery requirement.

Who We Serve

FMS, DCS & Allied-Nation Programs

An international sustainment requirement is a program relationship, with shipping as one part of it. EOS works across U.S. Government, Foreign Military Sales and Direct Commercial Sales channels, connecting parts supply, packaging and kitting, export compliance and final-mile delivery with the program office, the OEM and the end user in country.

Foreign Military Sales requirements run through a U.S. Government program office. EOS connects procurement, packaging and kitting, export documentation and delivery with that office's requirement, so the delivery scope and responsibilities are defined at the outset rather than at the port.
